One thing that people who ask why anti-Elon people haven’t migrated to alternatives to Twitter fail to understand is that unless you use it for the very narrow purpose of interacting with a small group of people there is no alternative to Twitter. Network effects are real!

Why it matters: The comments, which he made during a live-streamed event on X with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, come as the company struggles to regain trust with advertisers.

Yes, the way to get advertisers back is to massively decrease the website’s user base, while ensuring that the remaining users disproportionately consist of Nazis. At any rate, this will certainly take care of Twitter’s network advantages, and hopefully either Zuck or Jack will actually take advantage of the opportunity,
