Let’s hope Republicans keep outsourcing candidate recruitment to Peter Thiel

“Fascinating — he combines fascist policies on LAW AND ORDER and economics and abortion with attacks on big tech for not hosting enough Nazis and corporations for being too woke! Truly a man of deeply complex politics. Good job Peter!”

With the race having officially been called, let us remember that Blake Masters is one incredibly creepy and ghoulish motherfucker, even for a fascist crank associated with Peter Thiel:

Hard to believe this didn’t play in a largely urban swing state!

While we’re on the subject, it’s also worth noting that while Thiel’s hand-picked Ivy League creep did goosestep across the finish line in Ohio, he ran almost 10 points behind the party’s gubernatorial candidate and required a a massive bailout from scarce resources in what should have been a completely safe Republican seat in this context. (We should also note that Ryan was a good candidate who ran a good race, but the headwinds were just too strong.)

And finally, I’ll have more on this once the race is called, but it’s sure looking like the Thiel-funded fascist goon Joe Kent is blowing WA-3, a district Trump carried by 4 points and Herrera Butler carried by 13 and that if anything probably got redder in the redistricting. I really hope Thiel keeps intervening in Republican primaries — his instincts for finding people in his mirror image who therefore repel normal voters are flawless.

Anyway, this is all actually Mitch McConnell’s fault:
