I’m neither left or right, I’m just staying home tonight, high-fiving all my fascist buddies on my new website
Elon is really doing everything he can to prove the truth of this dictum:
When somebody says they are “neither conventionally right or left,” it means they are to the right of Mussolini.— A.R. Moxon, Ṽerífíed Dück 🦆 (@JuliusGoat) November 25, 2022
Both his actions and his feed are all just straight-up reactionary white supremacist politics now:
There is literally nothing more conventionally right than anti-wokeness — i.e. opposition to equality. If you think consciousness of inequality, and an interested in reducing it, is a “mind virus,” you are as conventionally conservative as it comes. https://t.co/TuAEgbP3t1— Will Wilkinson 🌐 (@willwilkinson) November 25, 2022
“I am neither conventionally right nor left.
I just happen to articulate far-right views, endorse the views of far-right trolls, and am bringing far-right actors who were banned for violating twitter’s rules back to the site.” pic.twitter.com/UirOgnj1F8— Don Moynihan (@donmoyn) November 25, 2022
The complaints about educators are particularly instructive. Musk and his fellow alt-right crackpots seem frequently to be Dick Delaware types furious that their kids don’t agree with views like “drag shows present an existential threat to Western Civilization” and blame their kids’ instructor for Introduction to Business Accounting rather than the fact that they’re never at home for their kids becoming estranged:
I learned recently that Musk blames progressive educators for his poor relationship with (at least some of) his kids. pic.twitter.com/OqHHSnIAly— Matthew Yglesias (@mattyglesias) November 25, 2022
And these people think the upper reaches of Silicon Valley are saturated with leftism!
…LOL:
There is an envelope marked FASCIST MANIFESTO on my desk. I open it and retrieve a 3×5 file card, with the words "I am neither conventionally right nor left" written on it.— steve albini (@electricalWSOP) November 25, 2022
