On our latest episode of the Oral History of the Blogosphere, Pulitzer prize winner Joe Sonka of the Louisville Courier-Journal joined me to chronicle the gone-but-only-mostly-forgotten Bluegrass Blogosphere. We talk through some of the history of the local political blogosphere, then develop some thoughts about the broader constellation of local blogospheres (most of which are now gone). We discuss professionalization, revenue, archives, and of course the Kentucky Creation Museum and whether or not there were dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark.

The LGM podcast is now available from a variety of corporate overlords, so please perform freedom by making your consumer choice. We would very much appreciate reviews, whether of the thoughtful written variety or just by clicking on the appropriate star.
