Left-MAGA campaign gets crushed in San Francisco

A particularly disgusting NIMBY campaign by David Campos (no relation on any level) suffered a nearly 30-point defeat to a good YIMBY one, and the area’s most prominent stooge for wealthy incumbent property owners is crying about it:

Too bad — Campos would have built that wall, and DEVELOPERS would have paid for it!
The most amazing thing about SF NIMBYS is that they act like working-class people aren’t already being priced out of SF, as a result of their policies. The idea that if housing is turned into a zero-sum game with increasing demand and artificially restricted supply it’s rich people who won’t be able to move in is nuttier than the See’s factory. But people like Campos and Preston can’t afford to understand this, so they just throw up some guff about DEVELOPERS and TECH BROS [who are flooding the neighborhood by living in buildings that CAST SHADOWS, which are also being held entirely vacant by Russian speculators] while working to make the housing market as unaffordable for people in lower socioeconomic strata as they can.
