Anyway, the left-MAGA tendency found in the Greenwald/Taibbi Extended Substack Universe consists of the two following core principles:
- Trump is not responsible for any bad thing that he did; he was forced to by people he appointed to the executive branch, his close congressional allies, etc.
- Trump does get the credit for every good thing Biden does that he didn’t.
Well, there are some other core principles as well — most notably, “vaccines and other anti-COVID measures are bad because more COVID is good for the totally economically populist and dovish MAGA movement” — but that’s another post.
