LGM Film Club, Part 212: Subaru Hires Susan Ford
In the late 70s, Subaru entered the U.S. market big time and ran this fascinating ad that found Americans with last names of American car makers to admit that Subarus were better. It closes with Gerald Ford’s daughter Susan in front of the U.S. Capitol building. It’s kind of a remarkable ad. I wonder how much they had to pay her for this.
