I’ve yet to make an Ina Garten recipe that wasn’t delicious so I don’t know why I was surprised this dish turned out to be so spectacular. Perhaps it was the fresh dill in the slaw. Perhaps it was the sriracha in the avocado mash. Perhaps it was the idea of fresh dill and sriracha being in the same dish, I don’t know. But, honestly, the weirdness was part of the appeal.
And the tacos are amazing: corn tortillas are spread with a bit of spicy avocado, then chipotle-lime-rubbed salmon is added, and, finally, everything is topped with a fresh, dilly, vinegary slaw. It shouldn’t work, but it does!
Note: I added a pinch of sugar to the slaw and a drizzle of honey to the avocado.
