Visualizing Mexican Food in New York

There’s tons of neat tools today to visualize history and culture. I happen to have absolutely no ability in this field except for coming up with some good ideas that I will never be able to move forward. But for those who do have these skills (and the institutional financial resources to make it happen) there are all sorts of great opportunities. This visualization of the expansion of Mexican food in New York City is a great example and is just a lot of fun. The only thing I wish it might have added was, if possible, a graphic about where in Mexico people were from and the types of food being offered. But that’s really asking for a lot.
Enjoy.
