Political correctness, NFL edition
By Reuben Foster is a second year NFL linebacker, whose draft stock fell quite a bit last year when he got into some sort of altercation with a student hospital worker at the combine (The combine is essentially a two-day job interview for NFL prospects.)
In January he was arrested for marijuana possession. The next month he was arrested for felony DV. A couple of months later, the complainant claimed that she’d made the charges up to shake him down (sure).
Then this weekend he got arrested for DV AGAIN.
At that point the San Francisco 49ers finally cut him.
Guess who took about 12 seconds to sign him? Yep, the Washington Racial Slurs, who are currently starting the ghost of Billy Kilmer at quarterback. Meanwhile, a certain politically conscious quarterback remains unemployed.
