The Perilous Night

Precisely one year ago this very minute, I was trying to comprehend what white people had done to this nation. And trying to comprehend how to teach American history the rest of the semester given what had happened. With only the exception of last night and the night McCain joined Murkowski and Collins to kill Trumpcare, it’s been a pretty rough year. In many ways, it’s been to have much hope for the future. Of course, many of us feel that way, including Patterson Hood and the Drive-By Truckers dropped a new song today about it.
