A real gentleman waits until he has been properly introduced to a lady before he assaults her
By NYPD Captain Peter Rose is the latest example of law enforcement enforcing society’s unwritten rules. In this case, the rule that states men who harm women should be given a pass whenever possible.
After all, women do ask for it by going on dates. And to work.
“Every rape should be investigated. I wish we could do more,” Captain Peter Rose, head of the 94th Precinct, told DNAinfo New York.
“It really becomes a balancing act for the investigators. Some of them were Tinder, some of them were hookup sites, some of theme were actually coworkers. It’s not a trend that we’re too worried about because out of 13 [sex attacks], only two were true stranger rapes,” he explained.
“If there’s a true stranger rape, a random guy picks up a stranger off the street, those are the troubling ones. That person has, like, no moral standards.”
High fives all around at the local Pick Up Artists and Affiliated Sleazebags Clubhouse because statistics show that the majority of victims know their attackers and Rose has just said that sort of crime is not a priority – because those perpetrators have some moral standards.
It is possible that Rose – possibly by sticking his head another inch up his ass whenever he thought someone was about to discuss violence against women – isn’t aware of these statistics. But I think it’s fair to apply the standard knew or should have known. And if he honestly truly didn’t know, I’m sure the Trump administration can find room for one more incompetent misogynist.
