Carl Paladino, Donald Trump’s New York co-chair, on Thursday said that President Obama is not a Christian, arguing that the President’s foreign policy proves he’s a Muslim.
“In the mind of the average American, there is no doubt he is a Muslim,” Paladino told the New York Observer in a phone interview. “He is not a Christian.”
“Look at what he’s done with Iran, what he’s done with the Sunni-Shia thing over in Iraq and Iran, and with ISIS,” he added.
Nobody knows how to win statewide elections in New York like Carl Paladino! Between this and the fact that Binghamton is presumably being saturated with Trump bumper stickers as we speak, I think it’s safe to say the campaign’s decision to expend resources in New York will prove more than justified.
