Happy Friday, everybody. Set peepers on these long-necked beauts…

Meet Mamenchisaurus. It’s a sauropod from the late Jurassic…whose neck was nearly as long its body and tail combined!

 

And you’ve met Tanystropheus before. It was a semi-aquatic pescatarian from the Triassic!

Finally, here’s a plesiosaur.

I just learned– as I was putting this post up– that they managed to survive for nearly all of the Mesozoic Era! Holy crap!
