A New Year

Congrats to the Red Sox. It’s pretty amazing considering where they were last year — see Keri and Calcaterra. Certainly, there was a lot of luck involved; there offseason represented generally sensible gambles, but it wasn’t reasonable to expect them to work out as well as they did. But it was an impressive year for the organization by and standard, and they seem to be in much better shape going forward than the Yankees.
