Chris Mooney in Seattle
I can’t go, but I’m sure some of you can. . .
This week, we’re going to move Drinking Liberally downtown, and
incorporate a book signing. Chris Mooney, staff writer for the liberal DC magazine The American Prospect, is in town to sign copies of his new book The Republican War on Science. I encourage everyone to go and will be there with Drinking Liberally buttons on (I really have to get a T-shirt one of these days). After the book signing is over, Chris has agreed to join us for a beer or mojito afterwards. The tentative plan is to walk the half mile up the hill to Tango Restaurant, which is the closest bar I was sure would be open. If you have other recommendations, please mail them to me and perhaps we can improvise.Book signing:
