Have indeed long been a NYT specialty. This week’s, though…basing your latest Dowdesque nutty gender theory on…a scene from a (10 year-old!) TV show is particularly special.

    That’s a good list Hess has compiled, but how could she forget the incomparable “Jennifer 8. Lee” on the modest decline in terrifying gender identity panic of straight men who have dinner together in public?
