Kennedy Katch and Kill

While I take Paul’s point in re: revelations about RFK Jr.’s erotic poetry being as disgusting as…everything else about him, etc. etc. I do think there’s one piece of actual news from Lizza’s latest blog/cry for help that is worth noting:

If true — and while I certainly wouldn’t call Lizza a reliable narrator I don’t see what reason he would have to lie about this particular point — the fact that one of the most prominent political reporters in the country was doing staggeringly unethical undisclosed PR and ratfucking work for the guy who evolved a vanity campaign into becoming the country’s Secretary of Child Murder is a very big deal indeed. It’s embarrassing that Vanity Fair would hire a journalist with so many red flags already. And this would also seem to suggest that New York‘s allegedly exonerating investigation into whether Nuzzi’s virtual affair with the anti-vaxx failson had any impact on her coverage was about as rigorous as John Roberts’s search for the real leaker. The coverage of the 2024 campaign is kind of one big rolling scandal, and this would be at the apex if it bears out.
