Argentina-Switzerland Game Thread

I made my statement about the horrors of the money-laundering state of Switzerland known last game against Colombia. Unfortunately, they managed to win through the stupidity of ending these games on penalty kicks. And no one was rooting for Argentina in either of the last two games and they have been crazy luck to win against both Cape Verde and Egypt, two teams they should be far better than. So we will see here. I am sure the history of the far-right in Argentina unloading cash in Switzerland is pretty damn long and I would love to know how much money Millei has stored there. But what I really want to talk about since there’s no morally correct position between these two is the Swiss head coach, who is the biggest personification of Eurotrash Guy I have ever seen.

He is wearing glasses these days and somehow the Eurotrash look is doubled. I’d put a picture up, but almost anything not on Wikipedia or really old is going to get us sued and that’s not a theoretical situation either, we’ve had to pay a lot of fines over the years. This guy looks like the guy at the end of the Simpsons stolen art episode who drives up to recover the art from stolen from his family in a sportscar bouncing with techno, throws it in the trunk roughly, and drives off at 150 mph.

I think I have to root for Argentina just because of this guy.
