Biden old! Kamala weird laugh! Trans volleyball player in Utah!

The war with Iran drove up monthly US inflation threefold in March, according to the latest Consumer Price Index report, released Friday morning.

The month-over-month increase of 0.9% was the third-highest such increase in the last 300 months, which per doing my own research puts it in the 99th percentile of monthly inflation increases over the past quarter century, which is really bad.

The good news is that if anything will make Trump TACO on his war criming for at least a few weeks, it will be something like this.

ETA: Some big brains in comments pointed out that you have to compound the monthly rate to get the annualized rate so it’s 11.3% not 10.8%.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish, and the tyranny of statistical analysis.
