My “favorite” de facto endorsement of Trump from the theoretically reluctant right remains Ross Douthat’s assertion that Trump would improve on Biden’s allegedly chaotic foreign policy outcomes, which buried within had a concession that various outcomes outside the United States did not reflect “terrible case-by-case decision making by the Biden administration.” This is basically the middlebrow version of the no-information swing voter who voted for Trump because he would underpants gnomes his way into bringing 2019 prices back while maintaining 2024 wages (and while imposing huge across-the-board tar….I can’t hear you!) Anyway, I’m sure Donald Trump is going to press the “end the Ukraine war on mutually favorable terms” button on the oval office desk that Biden refused to for some reason any day now.
