USA-Canada Gold Medal Belated Open Thread

We have been remiss in failing to provide an Open Thread for the US-Canada Hockey Gold Medal game… now approaching end of the 1st period with the US ahead 1-0.

I am a pure nationalist when it comes to the Olympics and other international athletic competitions… not gonna let Trump determine whether or not I can cheer for Team USA. That said, I haven’t watched a lot of the 2026 Winter Olympics so far.
