Toplines, tables & crosstabs

You might have heard that Donald of the Putrid Paws has threatened to add the latest NYT/Siena poll to his defamation lawsuit against the New York Times.
That fits his pattern of suing when a poll’s results hurt his feelings. He still has ongoing federal and state lawsuits against the Des Moines Register and pollster Anne Selzer. The DMR/Selzer suits are based on the fact Selzer predicted Harris would win the last presidential election. That’s right, the sorest winner to ever pout because their first prize trophy cup isn’t filled with ice cream and cake is suing because a prediction that said he would lose was wrong.
Like most outlets he has sued neither paper has given him a plausibly deniable gift indicated it intends to settle. But based on his apparent legal theory: It is illegal to say or publish things about him that hurt his feelings, I assume threats of lawsuits against the Pew Foundation and outlets that reported on its latest presidential approval poll are incoming. If a poll that shows a 40% approval rating is illegal, then a poll that shows a 37% approval rating must be biglier illegal by a factor of a yuge.
Naturally, news outlets are covering the approval rating and a few more data points. But thanks to the internet, you can take peek behind the reporting (including the methodology 😍). So have some toplines, tables and crosstabs.
I can’t be the only nerd who enjoys this stuff, can I?
As an aside, his Des Moines Register/Selzer lawsuit illustrates a huge part of his appeal to the worst white Americans. Like them, he is an ambulatory sack of whine. White supremacy, American style, insists that any inconvenience to a white person is a major tragedy. Even when self-inflicted. Or made up. It says that white people can’t fail, they can only be thwarted by someone – or (((someone))) else. And that white people are never at fault for anything.
Decent white American resist the siren call of permanent emotional immaturity. The other sort look at tRump – the most notorious and successful of the red-faced shouters brigade, so far – and say “He says what we’re all thinking!” And what they’re all thinking is “Waaah, no fair!”
