And everything (except my football teams) about this nation is worse since January 6, 2021. The nation responded by electing the coup leader to office. You can say “oh sure, his approval ratings aren’t great.” But should that be the standard here? America may beat this cancer. It may not. I’d bet on the latter. And no, winning the midterms in 2026 is not beating the cancer. It’s a slightly effective medicine that helps around the margins. Winning in 2028 is a remission, at best. It will take winning 5 or so election cycles in a row to defeat this cancer.
