Trump class battleships

I assume Rob will have some things to say about this, and I also assume this means there will be a Trump law school, a Trump labor relations act, and a Trump chair in political science soon enough.

President Trump is announcing a new class of Navy ships that he is describing as “battleships.” He said he expects the U.S. government to acquire 25 of the new vessels that are expected to be called Trump-class battleships. It’s the latest example of Trump rebranding or remaking an aspect of the government in his own image.

They say God rebranded Adam in his own image before Eve tempted Adam with an apple, but man I ain’t going for that.

President Trump is emphasizing that he wants these ships constructed quickly. He said he will meet with defense contractors next week in Florida to talk about accelerating production schedules “because they’re too slow,” Trump said. “They don’t produce them fast enough,” Trump said, adding his is prepared to penalize companies who “aren’t doing a good job.” He also said the administration plans on “fixing up” the Navy’s headquarters.

Trump is like somebody who can drive a car and thinks that makes him qualified to design one (Metaphor applies to basically his entire cabinet, Bari Weiss’s “journalism” etc.)

Although I bet Trump can’t actually drive. Again he’s basically a dull normal (at best) 12-year-old boy, who thinks that battleships are cool, especially if they have lasers that can kill sharks.

President Trump signals that the new ships with be designed with artificial intelligence capabilities, saying A.I. will be a “big factor” when it comes to these ships.

Throw in something about the block chain and now we’re cooking with gas.
