Making murder respectable

One of the many amazing things about the open moral sewer that is the Trump administration is that, even if you treat all of their brazen lies as true, they still can’t avoid the awkward fact that they are, legally speaking, murdering people for propaganda purposes.

The Trump administration is blowing up alleged drug running boats on the basis of a bunch of egregious bullshit about how the United States is supposedly at “war” with “narco-terrorists.”* Jam an icepick a couple of inches into your brain so that you’re “thinking” like the typical marginal voter, and this claim may sound quite plausible, but the thing is, EVEN THEN what the administration is boasting about ordering the military to do — killing “combatants” who have been rendered completely helpless by military action and cannot possibly pose any threat — is STILL straight up murder under the relevant laws of war, and hence a war crime.

Only after the moronic moral degenerates ordering these murders for propaganda purposes were informed by whatever lawyers are themselves degenerate enough to work for these gangsters that the murders they were boasting about were “technically” still murders did the former group of degenerates change their story yet again, to “I had no idea that’s what was going on — blame this admiral over here.” (To be clear the admiral should go to prison too: flagrantly illegal orders are illegal).

All these people are the scum of the earth.
