Here’s an interesting email that Jeffrey Epstein sent to Landon Thomas of the New York Times in 2015:

Seems odd that we’re only finding out about this 10 years later! Admittedly, this story hardly had the prurient and substantive interest of such blockbusters worthy of months-long investigations an insinuating headlines like “some people asked for diplomatic passports and were refused.”
