Admittedly, this talking point is an improvement on Vance’s previous entry, “only illegal immigrants will lose coverage because of our savage healthcare cuts, even though no illegal immigrants are eligible for either Medicaid or ACA tax credits.” The man is a professional insulter of people’s intelligence, and he owes his career to how many media and legal elites actively like having their intelligence insulted (and in many cases deserve it.)
…definitely an administration negotiating in good faith, and certainly without gratuitous racism:
