Convicted felon Dinesh D’Souza thinks college radicalized Tyler Robinson

Immigrant convicted felon Dinesh D’Souza has questions. As does Frau Miller:
“I’d like to know the names of the professors who radicalized this young man,” posted right-wing author Dinesh D’Souza on X. “I wonder if they too could be charged with abetting this political assassination.”
“Higher ed is a scam,” tweeted Katie Miller, a prominent MAGA figure and wife of Trump’s deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, in response to a post alleging Robinson was “brainwashed” at college.
“From a regular middle class family. Good grades. Went off to college. Became an extremist Antifa kiIIer,” wrote a popular right-wing X account with the display name “End Wokeness.”
There are a few problems with this, beginning with the awkward fact that Robinson seems to have been a devotee of Kirk’s enemy and rival in the right wing media ecosystem Nick Fuentes, rather than any kind of leftist. But facts are not things that are ever inconvenient for lying fascist propagandists like convicted felon Dinesh D’Souza, or Mr. & Mrs Miller’s cosplay Goebbels marriage (somebody should keep an eye on their kids).
Tyler Robinson, chief sicario of the Nick Fuentes Fan Club, went to Utah State for one semester at the height of Covid and then dropped out. Utah State is ranked as one of the most conservative colleges in America by the people who pay attention to such things.
So this theory is bizarrely wrong in every particular, which makes it a perfect fit for the Republican party, which I repeat without hyperbole has gone completely insane over the last few years, to the point where a right wing gutter snipe like Kirk can get got by an even more fascistic faction of the Trump movement, and this is transformed — not just by the mendacious Fox Cinematic Universe machine, but by the “liberal” media — into the assassination of a moderate Republican by a “political extremist” of some conveniently unspecified type.
I went to college between 1978 and 1982, and in all that time the only thing resembling actual political indoctrination I ever encountered in a classroom was a history professor who devoted one entire class period to explaining why Marxism was a ridiculous theory of history (fair enough), and all of the next class to why Ronald Reagan should be elected president.
Of course to right wingers pretty much all of my classes featured political indoctrination to the extent they taught inherently left wing mental habits like empiricism and critical thinking. That’s the actual indoctrination that happens in America’s universities, which is why fascist scum like convicted felon Dinesh D’Souza want to destroy them.
