It’s question 30 that really kills me. If people who just voted for an incompetent would-be strongman running on a platform of massively increased tariffs because BURGERS EXPENSIVE and they believed Donald Trump’s lies that the cost of tariffs would be borne by the exporting country, this would be at least a theoretically solevable problem (if difficult to solve in practice.) But the fact that most people understand that Trump is lying and tariffs will in fact make goods more expensive and still voted for him because the price for private taxi for your surf and turf eggs was too damn high…what are you gonna do?
