We are going to have to be more disciplined to deal with this Trump administration.
One of the things we must do is to ignore the provocations. Thus, it’s tempting to dunk on this photo because it shows Mr. Put The Dead Bear Cub In Your Car But Don’t Eat Manufactured Stuff joining the boys in a McDonald’s. Or perhaps the power of Donald Trump to force him to do that and smile. Or the fact that co-President Elon Musk has taken up JD Vance’s position.
That’s what they want you to do. Then they can feel they’ve owned you.
It’s a flex. We can do anything we like. It’s the aptheosis of Karl Rove’s “We create the reality.”
Reject it. I hope not to have to issue this kind of warning again. We have work to do and cannot afford to be distracted.
