Women Are Angry
By A JD Vance podcast from 2020 was unearthed yesterday. “The whole purpose of the postmenopausal female [sic],” says the host, is to help raise grandchildren.” JD agrees. This spawned a meme of women posting their version of the purpose of menopausal women.
Of course, the podcaster’s statement commits the naturalistic fallacy of thinking that there is a purpose to evolution, but JD probably rejects evolution unless it backs up his ideas about women.
Anyhow, here is one of the posts. It’s Caravaggio’s relatively well-mannered version of Judith beheading Holofernes, a biblical story.
It’s at the top of a thread that includes other depictions of the event. The jewel of the series is Artemisia Gentileschi’s. It is believed that she painted her rapist’s face on Holofernes.
