Motivated by Erik’s heartfelt encomium to the blog, I too will say a personal thanks to the managers here at LGM and the readers who contribute to the maintenance of the blog.
I’ve been blogging since 2004, but not always here. Like Erik, I can write things here that probably wouldn’t see the light of day in the customary arms control literature. And I haven’t written all of them yet!
Plus I can use the strategy and other stuff I learned as part of my job at Los Alamos, even though I never got academic credit for it. That includes domestic and international politics.
I’m naturally optimistic, and that makes me wrong sometimes. But I think the nation and this blog will endure!
