“Have you ever seen such finesse?”: Bob Cole (1933-2024)

Bob Cole, an announcer with a stature in Canada comparable to Vin Scully or Al Michaels in the United States,died earlier this week. This tribute to someone who was a legendary figure even before becoming the lead announcer for Hockey Night In Canada — I love that they got some footage of Cole serving as Newfoundland’s skip at the Canadian curling championship — is incredibly well done:
