Following the swift downfall of Rep. Tom Emmer as the GOP’s speaker designee Tuesday, GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik announced the next Republican representatives running for the job ahead of a candidate conference:
- Byron Donalds of Florida
- Chuck Fleischmann of Tennessee
- Mark Green of Tennessee
- Kevin Hern of Oklahoma
- Mike Johnson of Louisiana
- Roger Williams of Texas
If the country wasn’t falling apart it would all be pretty funny.
