“They’re not here to hurt me”

Open thread on Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony before the January 6 committee.

I’m not a federal criminal law expert, but I guess I would be surprised if planning out a scheme to send an armed insurrectionary mob to the U.S. Capitol to violently prevent the installation of the successor to the political office I held wasn’t a crime of some sort or another.

I take that Merrick Garland is still collating.
