When I was in New York last weekend I saw the exhibit of Robert Caro’s papers at the NYHS. Pretty interesting stuff, although I suspect a much bigger one will come now that they have the full archive. Anyway, this makes the week’s non-fake-university-related obsession of the Intellectual Horse Paste Web even more amusing:
Moses’ (correct) assumption was that the vast majority of car owners at the time were white, while black and Latino kids, in particular, would be more likely to take the bus to the beach. And Moses wanted to keep black and Latino kids from going to the beach. pic.twitter.com/Z9RJPcxKGe— James Surowiecki (@JamesSurowiecki) November 8, 2021
Of course as we know this is the kind of extensively documented fact that makes certain white dipshits uncomfortable and thus must not be mentioned because that would be woke critical race identity politics theory.
