The Grand Expedition to the Outermost West

This morning I and my daughters leave for a trip that was originally planned for last summer; a long drive across the US, ending in Seattle and hitting many points in between. Purchased a car in March 2020 with three rows in order to make the trip, only to find that nobody in these vast United States wanted to see us. But now we’re vaccinated, and things are open, and so the trip will be made. My daughters have never seen the Pacific, and have never seen an actual mountain, so it should be an experience. We stop first in St. Louis, then Omaha, then Boulder, then Salt Lake, then Sacramento, then Eugene, then Portland, then Seattle. After that, we’ll return home as rapidly as possible.
