The Chauvin Trial
Paul recently posted about the Chicago Police Department murdering seventh-grader Adam Toledo. I echo his recommendation to not watch that video. I URGE you to not share it. And in any case I would wonder what video evidence could show people that would sway them away, if they were so thinking, that a police officer shooting a 13-year-old was not a horrible thing. American policing is an absolutely terrible and violent and racist institution. Those are not bugs of the system. They are its feature.
On that note, The Guardian asked me to write about the trial of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd. Here is the piece.
This is not reformable.
