Yesterday, on national television, Congressman Sean Maloney made false and baseless conspiracy claims about me that led to death threats and hundreds of vile phone calls and emails. His comments were extremely offensive, shameful and dangerous. There was not an ounce of truth to anything he claimed about me. His allegations are an embarrassment to the House of Representatives and he should correct his false assertions on the record as soon as possible.
Here’s the transcript of Maloney’s remarks.
Guess whose name doesn’t appear anywhere in them? Off brand Sarah Palin didn’t graduate from high school, and I’m guessing her knowledge of Hamlet isn’t particularly comprehensive, but there’s a quote in there somewhere that more or less leaps to mind . . .
The good news is that Boebert’s Colorado congressional district only voted for Trump over Biden by six percentage points. The bad news is that a district that overall is only leans Republican by a bit put this preposterous maniac in Congress.
Hopefully the congressional redistricting process takes care of this problem, assuming that the information that comes out over the next few weeks isn’t sufficient to convince her colleagues to expel her.
OTOH the way things are going, I would in all seriousness not dismiss out of hand the possibility that Boebert could end up as the GOP’s presidential nominee three and a half years from now.
