When you just tweet it out:

Needless to say, the idea that Republicans in 2000 wanted to “count every vote” is an absolutely ludicrous fiction. The Brooks Brothers riot shut down the Miami-Dade recount, and then Bush’s legal team and a lawless Republican Supreme Court shut down the statewide recount favored by Gore’s legal team that was ordered by the Florida Supreme Court. (The Florida Court was disparaged not only by Republicans but many mainstream journalists and pundits as partisan, even though it was completely consistent in applying the controlling standard of Florida law and Bush won 3 of 5 decisions.) And of course the one crucial reason the election was close enough to steal was Jeb! Bush’s mass voter disenfranchisement scheme.

Republicans remain proud of stealing the 2000 election, and if/when they turn in Trump it will only be because his efforts are failing.
