Let’s review:

Attorney General William Barr is facing criticism for comparing calls for a nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus to slavery. “Putting a national lockdown, stay-at-home orders, is like house arrest,” he said during an event at Hillsdale College. “Other than slavery, which was a different kind of restraint, this is the greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history.” Barr also launched into a tirade against the hundreds of Justice Department prosecutors working beneath him, equating them to preschoolers and essentially saying the opinions of politically appointed Justice Department leaders are more important than those of career attorneys who have served through multiple presidencies. Barr also recently suggested charging violent protesters with the rarely used accusation of sedition — conspiracy to overthrow the US government.

You think that would be enough authoritarianism for one day but sadly no:

The attorney general has also asked prosecutors in the Justice Department’s civil rights division to explore whether they could bring criminal charges against Mayor Jenny Durkan of Seattle for allowing some residents to establish a police-free protest zone near the city’s downtown for weeks this summer, according to two people briefed on those discussions. Late Wednesday, a department spokesman said that Mr. Barr did not direct the civil rights division to explore this idea.

The directives are in keeping with Mr. Barr’s approach to prosecute crimes as aggressively as possible in cities where protests have given way to violence. But in suggesting possible prosecution of Ms. Durkan, a Democrat, Mr. Barr also took aim at an elected official whom President Trump has repeatedly attacked.

Gee golly willikers, that sounds almost as bad as that time that Bill Clinton, who was a private citizen at the time, said hello to Loretta Lynch when they were both stuck at an airport!

This is your regular reminder that a bunch of legal and media elites were still falling all over themselves to kiss Barr’s feculent fascist ass a couple of Friedman units and 200 Epstein coefficients ago.

Remember when merely objecting to inviting this pig to lecture law students about ethics was the very latest evidence of how PC Culture Was Out of Control? I do! Because I’m several months old.

Also, let’s not forget that Barr’s late beloved daddy hired Jeffrey Epstein to enlighten the nubile daughters of New York City’s creme de la creme at the Dalton School, even though Epstein was a two-time college dropout with no formal teaching qualifications whatsoever. And here’s just another in a truly striking series of coincidences:

In September of 1973, a year before his tenure at Dalton ended, Barr published Space Relations. The book is highly unsettling and depicts the rape of enslaved people, especially teenage girls, and other coercive sex acts for the dual purposes of entertainment and controlled procreation . . . By far the most disgusting aspect of the novel is its fixation on sexualizing adolescents, and its depictions of rape. Even the adult characters in the book are constantly infantilized. The novel is also rife with casually unsettling observations such as: “To me, pederasty seems utterly lacking in aesthetic appeal.”

Gee, I wonder why all these right wing Catholics are constantly obsessing about elaborate child rape conspiracies?

Now that’s not a very PC question is it?

When this is all over we’re going to learn things you people wouldn’t believe.
