Labor Rights Talk

The Actors Circle Ensemble is doing an incredible set of socially distanced plays around social justice issues, followed by a scholar providing commentary on the various movement. Last week, I did the first one, on labor rights and workplace issues. Unfortunately, the plays (which were all very good) are not on YouTube, but my talk and then the Q&A are. I seriously need this voice actor to introduce me to my classes on the first day every semester! It was awesome. It wasn’t quite like a regular talk because I was responding to the plays, but I think it brings the energy pretty well. Check it out.

This week’s plays are on environmentalism and social justice. The commenter is Shannon Elizabeth Bell, who wrote a great book on the fight against mountaintop removal mining. Check it out tomorrow night!
