To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.

The reason people in the executive branch are trying to do stuff like “stop Trump from randomly assassinating foreign leaders,” and the reason Republicans in Congress refuse to conduct any oversight, is because Trump’s agenda is the conventional Republican agenda. His economic populist gestures during the primaries were lies! Republican elites have come to support him based on when they were smart enough to figure this out. Sadly, Glenn still hasn’t.
