Today’s Medicaid Expansion News
By With respect to the question of how badly the Supreme Court damaged the Medicaid expansion in the PPACA, a couple of items pointing in the opposite direction:
- Encouragingly, Tea Party favorite John Kasich is taking the money.
- On the other hand, Pennsylvania governor who needs to be a one-termer now more than ever Tom Corbett has decidied to screw over the uninsured in his state in order to please his crackpot base. Fortunately, Corbett was essentially unelectable even before this, so hopefully this will be a short-term holdout.
