No Rice with that Canadian Bacon

The ripple effect created when Canada said ‘no’ to signing on to U.S. missile defence seems to have penetrated deeper south of the border than first believed.
CTV News has learned that U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was so displeased by Canada’s decision to opt out of the program that she’s postponed a planned visit to Ottawa in mid-April.
The job of the Secretary of State is, after all, to visit sovereign foreign countries. Since we’ve already established that Canada has lost sovereignty, there’s no reason for Rice to go. People up north should look forward to visits by Alberto Gonzales, however.
These people just don’t understand the carrot part of sticks and carrots, even when they’re dealing with democratic countries.
