By My question for Chris Vance: If King County was hell-bent on “stealing” this election, why didn’t they do it sooner? Why did they reject a higher percentage of ballots than the rest of the state? If those 561 improperly rejected votes go to Gregoire by the usual KC margin, we’d have won the first recount by around 70-80 votes.
…Yes, I know Vance is cynically trying to diminish the legitimacy of a Gregoire victory…but it’s still worth pointing out his rhetoric is transparently foolish. The facts on the ground currently King county is more likely to lose the election for Gregoire (through incompetence) than win it for her through malfeasance.
