Yessssssssssssh.

Particularly appropriate given the previous two atbats, which culminated in an awful third strike call, and then a blown call on a stolen base that even the late Ray Charles could have made. (I mean, when the guy doesn’t come close to tagging him, and he would have been safe even if the tag had been down, you really have to get that right. Fucking amateur night out there.)

Obviously, I don’t think that the Red Sox will win, although it this point it’s just a question of how hard it will be to win two games at Yankee Stadium; once you’ve won Game 4 I don’t think having been down 3-0 means anything. More importantly, since my anti-Yankee ressentiment is far more powerful than my interest in any other team winning, every win and every inning is a strategic victory. (And with Schilling going tomorrow; hell, dare to dream. It does seem like an appropriate way for “the curse” to end…)
