Banned!
By A list of superb choices from the Poor Man. (Although I must admit to liking pretentious Latin phrases.)
However, I would like to reiterate that any such list absolutely demands the inclusion of “‘x’ is like ‘y’ on steroids.” This phrase should be banned, and I would gladly make an exception to my opposition to the death penalty to enforce this ban. The same pertains to any other phrase that John Leo and/or Cal Thomas considers witty.
