“Civility”

He keeps doing this:
At his NYC fundraiser tonight, Joe Biden said that Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge was “one of the meanest guys I ever knew.” But, he added, “At least there was some civility. We got things done.”

Tonight at a fundraiser in NYC, Biden recalled serving with a major segregationist Mississippi senator: “I was in a caucus with James O. Eastland … he never called me boy, he always called me son.” He imitated the drawl. “At least there was some civility. We got things done”— Edward-Isaac Dovere (@IsaacDovere) June 19, 2019

The fact that Eastland didn’t use racial slurs when addressing Biden directly is truly a mystery that will never be explained.
I keep waiting for Biden’s campaign to be exposed as the new Iannucci project but apparently it’s actually happening.
